Timeline

1988 – 1996

Morning-drive anchor
It’s true! Radio anchors can wear glasses and jeans.

1996 – 1999

MSNBC/NBC/Host of Morningline and NBC News at Sunrise
I brave the crowds on lower Broadway to cover the 1996 Yankees ticker-tape parade for MSNBC. During a live shot, I was alternately cheered and pelted with confetti.

1996 – 1999

MSNBC/NBC/Host of Morningline and NBC News at Sunrise
I could have ended my career right here. I got to interview a Beatle!

1999 – 2008

Fox News Channel/Host of Fox News Live
My publicity shot which, in the style of newspaper columnists, I will continue to use when I’m 90 years old.

2008 – 2012

I earned an MFA in writing at Sarah Lawrence College, started writing my novel, actually got paid to write magazine articles, and taught journalism at Pace University. No visuals of me in tattered tweed.

Fall 2014

1010 WINS radio/Morning-drive co-anchor
I return to my radio roots and, along with co-anchor Lee Harris, get to help wake up the city that never sleeps.

August 2015

I released my first novel, Anchored. It is available as printed and digital formats.
